Quillen Farms is a small, family owned and operated producer of Fullblood Wagyu Cattle located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Our commitment to highly quality Wagyu began humbly with a passion for steak and a desire to do something a little different.
Honoring the traditional heritage of the Wagyu breed, our cattle are 100% Fullblood Wagyu. We believe great meat starts with great genetics and have tailored a breeding program to produce animals of size, good phenotype and superb quality. Our cattle are nurtured by the dedicated care of our family, they are pasture-raised and grain-finished at our farm in Maryland where we pay careful attention to their happiness and strive to maintain a stress-free environment.
The foundation of our beef production is a slow feeding finishing program designed to produce delicate, even marbling and allows for our cows to gain weight at a steady and natural pace. We believe in a life well-eaten and we are willing to wait 30 months for the perfect steak.
